On one hand, this book feels like it's for advanced t winners or training leaders and on the other hand, it's a master course for beginners, helping them to get training right early in their careers. I really enjoyed the book and learned a lot.

I bought this book a little over 2 years ago and I remember reading it and being blown away by this idea of how to provide effective training. This book is full of so many great ways to improve your training and I now make what I learned a standard for every training I do. My biggest take always from this book have been training is a process and not an event and that the purpose of training is to improve performance. This book is my absolute go to and has become my personal Training Bible.

A must-implement revolution in learning and development. Everything I learned in my training masters degree, all in one well-written book.

I am in the performance improvement field and I have been studying this book. It is a tremendous asset to help you move your thinking from just creating training, to consulting on improving employee performance. Highly recommended to anyone in the training industry (trainer, instructional designer, etc.).

Definitely one of the best resources on integrating a culture of learning and development within your organization. I have the kindle version, but also wanted a hard copy to work with. I'll be ordering some of the available accompanying helps as well. The 6 D's gives excellent overviews, examples, as well as concrete behaviors for fostering learning and retention.
