 I nearly cancelled my pre-order for this book because I wasn’t following my diet as much, but I’m glad I didn’t! I received it and there are so many great ideas for how to use the 2 ingredient dough base. I am not creative enough with cooking to be able to come up with all these ideas. I cannot wait to do some of the breakfast ones with eggs! I made bagel balls and altered mine a little bit from the one in the book. There’s obviously a learning curve for stuffing them. ;)In response to an earlier review, they’re “lower carb”as compared to other breads. Many of the people who use this dough are on the Weight Watchers plan. This dough gives you a satisfying bread that doesn’t have high calories. My kids and I really prefer the pizza we have made using 2 ingredient dough. You don’t sacrifice flavor! I think this is a book that will be getting lots of use!

This book, the 2- Ingredient Miracle Dough Cookbook, is another in a long list of my favorite cookbooks that I go to again and again. The basic recipe is self-rising flour and Greek yogurt - that's all. With that you can make doughnuts, fritters, sandwich bread, bagels and more. Then you can add all sorts of other ingredients to make your baked goods even more flavorful. If you don't have self-rising flour on hand, all you need is salt, baking powder, and baking soda - the recipe for this blend is on page 2. I made about 12 of these recipes, several with the help of grandchildren, and they were all fun and delicious to make. I also made all of my recipes Gluten Free and vegan, and they all still worked. What I did notice was that with my changes, I needed a little more yogurt at times, or a little more flour at times, to get the dough to work right - or it just could have been me. Also, the recipes are for small batches, and I double several of them, and it still worked just fine. I am not at all a bread maker with the yeast etc, so this was really fun to make these breads and everyone - EVERYONE - loved them. So I thoroughly recommend this book, but be warned, you will gain weight easily if you are not careful!

I don’t think some of those earlier reviewers actually bought this cookbook. It’s awesome! Beautiful photos and great recipes for anyone wanting to try a new and healthier approach to bread. I have already tried theee recipes and they have all come out beautifully. My family has loved my new baking craze with this cookbook. It’s been my best cookbook purchase in years.

I have been baking for many years and am so happy to have found a cookbook that has created recipes to make rolls, flatbreads, pizza dough, bagels, pretzels and desserts that are healthy and delicious! My favorite is the New York Crumb Cake recipe. It was a huge hit with family! The recipes are easy to follow and each have a beautiful full page color photo which is always so helpful. I also love the little captions at the head of each recipe. They were each sweet, full of insights about the author and had thoughtful ideas. This has been such a wonderful addition to my cookbook library! Buy this cookbook! You will love it!Also, I do not think the earlier reviews that had issues are authentic or they did not read the instructions. These recipes could not be more simple to make!

These recipes are great. My first recipe was the hamburger buns. I’m a working mom with 4 children at home and it is usually a bit of chaos here especially during that crazy “pre dinner” hour. I started the recipe but had to take a call so my 12 year daughter finished it for me. I wondered if the rolls would actually turnout. They did turn out, and they were fantastic.... So light and warm and delicious. The recipe was quick and easy. My children were begging to eat the hamburgers buns plain. Great recipes with very little effort.

This is a delightful cookbook full of creative 2 ingredient dough recipes. Each recipe is introduced with a bit of history or an amusing anecdote. The directions are easily understood and every recipe is accompanied by a pretty pictureshowing what to expect and leaving no mystery as to how the recipe should turnout. A few of my favorite savory recipes are the Parmesan Garlic Knots, 3 Cheese Empanadas, and the Golden Potato and Rosemary Pizza. As for the sweeter recipes, I especially enjoyed the Italian Donuts, the Cini-Mini-Churros and the adorable Peach Beehives with Honey Butter.I had no idea there were so many wonderful things to make with Greek yogurt and self rising flour. This cookbook has been a wonderful addition to my collection and has added many more recipes to my baking repertoire.

I love this cookbook!!! I made my first pizza last night and it came out perfect!!!! I’m so excited to try out all the yummy other recipes!! This is genius!!!! I’m doing WW and looking for lower calorie options!!

I tried, I really tried, but at about the midpoint of this book I started skipping so many pages I finally just succumbed to my truth and let it go.I am well aware that this a good writer, an excellent writer, and I do understand the genre of "survivor memoirs" and their ability to inspire and empower those for whom the narrative resonates. But for whatever reason, the style of the writing, with its almost breezy stripping of the writer's every thought, making each one as important and essential whether talking about yoga or alcoholism, became wearying to me. The sheer minute-by-minute-by-minute-by-minute account of the writer's marriage and the revelations that arose from it (and other revelation-inducing life events) became wearying to me as a reader. I left her sometime during the yoga section and left without knowing whether or not she and her husband ever had sex again or ever decided to give it a real go again -- and I feel sorta bad about that, as, no doubt, much went into this life and this book -- I just found the mountain of details wore me down too much to care.I'm sorry to leave this review because I applaud anyone who transcends their demons to find a new and more self-preserving life. But maybe I've read too much of this genre at this point. Maybe the revelations and epiphanies that fascinated this writer to the point of microscopic examination have already been covered in other fine books I've read. I dunno. All I know is, she lost me along the way.I wish her well, however it went, and congratulate her on both the success of her life and, is seems, this book. From what I can see it's having quite an impact and that's a good thing.

A friend suggested this book, so I downloaded a sample. I read it and it felt like every word described my childhood. My experiences on how to behave...how to display beauty and intelligence when interacting with others.I was curious about the author and started reading reviews prior to downloading reviews. Some praised her and related to her, others dropped off at passages where they felt she was too (insert adjective). Some labeled her a false prophet, some a spiritual guide.I almost didn’t read this book because of one of those labels. One that I just couldn’t identify with at all.But I read on. At times, I thought this woman is a beautiful writer. Her imagery is crisp, uniquely hers, forceful and superb. At other times I felt she was shallow or putting others in boxes as it related to her grief, her experiences, and I couldn’t relate at all. I thought about stopping. But I read on,and realized that she was baring her soul. Opening herself up to criticism and attack on many levels—as a person, a parent, a spouse, a spiritual being, a woman, a feminist, and whatever role or label the reader wanted to ascribe or judge her on.Did I relate to everything she said. Absolutely not. How could I? It’s her experience. Could I relate to some things? Absolutely.Baring your soul is brave. Allowing others to glimpse the lesson that you took from a situation is courageous. And I realized that it was not that she was a guru or guide instructing us how to be, act or feel, but relaying her experiences, how she dealt with them reacted, and re-evaluated her behavior as time passed.So I can’t judge her or find fault if I don’t relate, but I can listen learn and grow from what she has shared with me in her own personal journey. We are all on our own journey, and it is beautiful and painful for many of us. By baring her faults and foibles as well as her successes, she affords you the opportunity to take with you a message, the knowledge that as humans none of us have a perfect life or experiences. There will be good and bad. You will be challenged to find grace is devastating situations, to celebrate the successes of others when you are flailing. And when you are not flailing, when you have grace, you can walk with someone through parts of their journey.

Way too much feel good, touchy-feely psychobabble. And I’m a psychologist! I enjoyed the first half of this book and started skimming toward the end. I wish I had read more reviews before purchasing this or that I had borrowed it from the library. The idea of totally accepting yourself and being your true self is wonderful. I just did not care for the delivery.This is Glennon Doyle’s memoir about her difficult adolescence, her battle with bulimia, her substance use, and her unhealthy relationship with men and sex in college. She gets pregnant with her boyfriend and they marry. They have two more children and settle down as a family. She discovers he is into porn then he confesses to serial one night stands since they have been married. The bulk of the book is about how she sorts through her emotions and tries to make a decision about her marriage and her family. Her husband seems genuinely repentant and tries to win her back. They both go to therapy and learn that they have very different communication styles. They both work very hard on their marriage, to an almost unbelievable degree. Ms. Doyle also seeks answers through yoga and church. The title Love Warrior (which I hate!) is made a bit more palatable when you learn that it is in reference to the warrior pose in yoga. I did not realize that the author has parlayed her love warriorship into a website, blog, charity work, and speaking engagements. I probably would not have read the book if I had known.I thought that the writing was excellent and there were some sentences and paragraphs that really drive home her message. I think everyone can identify with the difficulty in figuring out who you are and being true to that. Instead, we try to blend in and be what we think other people will like. What I did not like about the later portion of the book was the author’s focus on being her authentic self. All. The. Time. With the constant introspection and questioning of her thoughts and feelings, I’m not sure how she could be real in the moment. Some of the phrases she uses are too much for me such as “I’m learning to feed my body.” Or in reference to learning to love her body “You are the ship that delivers love from the shore of another being to the shore of me.” If you like that style, you will love this book. If it makes you roll your eyes, you may want to pass.

Remember not to neglect your mental and physical health as well.

This workbook is a great supplement to Hans’ book by the same title. I’ve never found so much practical knowledge about preparing for retirement in a concise, easy to read book like this. The information is unbiased and truly feels like an educational book. Everything else I’ve read in an attempt to educate myself has felt like a sales brochure for a product. I’m thankful that I found this book.

I used this workbook to help me understand more clearly the many factors that go into retirement planning. I was particularly interested in Social Security and how it affects me and my husband. I thought it was an excellent guide, easy to grasp and organized.

I had to get this after reading the first book - it’s such a great follow up! I was able to look more closely at our specific situation and get a better idea of how I’d like our retirement to look. There were several details in these topics that I didn’t even think to bring up when working with a professional. My husband went to Hans for help on his Medicare insurance, and I’m definitely going to him for guidance in these other areas!

This workbook is excellent! It offers a ton of specific examples that really simplified how to plan for the future. After going through this workbook, I feel much more confident in how to handle things for myself and my family. Highly recommended.

For someone unfamiliar with the content, this book was surprisingly easy to read. It puts many things into perspective and you can tell the authors are well educated in the 7 subjects they discuss. The kindle is a great value. Recommend to everyone, I am giving a few as gifts over the holiday.

This book was about growing a seed into a plant. My daughter absolutely loved this book and will read it over and over. The illustrations are beautiful and the information is good. I have been encouraging her to read more on her own (she's 7 years old) so it helps to find books that she loves and will read over and over. I especially like the fact that it's educational. ;-)

Dave Hunter - Bio Dave loves maps, history, driving and discovering unusual stories along the way. Combined with his fondness for writing, this led to Along Interstate-75―a travel book which has quickly become the “must-have” guide for "snowbirds" heading out for the long-distance drive to Florida, each winter. His passion for history paid dividends while writing the I-75 guide. During research, he rediscovered two little known Civil War battle sites in North Georgia and noted that the interstate ran right across the middle of the Union and Confederate battle lines. Modern posters of his battlemaps were displayed in Georgia's Welcome Center, during the 1996 Atlanta Olympics. He also found a forgotten trail blazed in 1775 by Daniel Boone, which crosses the path of the modern interstate in Kentucky. Both of these finds were made possible by Dave's ability to read topographical maps–a skill he developed as a youngster roaming the hills and valleys of England’s South Downs, looking for prehistoric encampments and lost Roman roads. With more than twenty-five years of writing about I-75 road travel, Dave has become the media "go-to" person when producing annual drive-to-Florida content, and has appeared in hundreds of newspaper articles and radio & TV guest appearances. For the past sixteen years, Dave has hosted an all-day entertainment stage at the two-day Snowbird Extravaganza, held in Lakeland, Florida. This annual consumer show attracts over 15,000 U.S. & Canadian snowbirds each day. He is also a regular contributor of I-75 and Florida articles for the CSA News, Canada's official Canadian Snowbird Association. Dave is a credentialed member of the prestigious Society of American Travel Writers (SATW). This book sparkles. The lucid prose, combined with the shrewd, provocative insights, leaves left me pondering anomalies of every day experience. As Professor Katz highlights, convincingly, the internal inconsistencies in our laws reflect, and reinforce, the internal inconsistencies embedded within each of us -- and all of us. very interesting and educational

Would recommend this book to any law student. Plan to use the book in an undergraduate legal studies class. Deals in an accessible fashion with some "deep" subjects.

The topic is a great one, and there's enough depth to make the book useful. The perspective is entirely manly, though, without even a hint that feminist epistemology might even exist. Also, the author is apparently a law professor, but he can't seem to tell the difference between ontology and definition. Maybe he's trying to be thought-provoking, but the bogus arguments get pretty annoying after a while.

This book talks about puzzles in the law, with very interesting stories, and very good reasoning. The author gives powerful argument for the intricacy and perversity of the law, but just wasted many pages on tiny details.

I am a fan of all of Leo Katz's books -- you can learn more from each page of this then many casebooks combined. Despite the engaging and entertaining style of the book, it is a deep and important work of legal theory.Very roughly, Katz argues that the often strange structure of the law has more to do with Arrow's impossibility theorem then people have realized. Its an important idea and he delivers it in a very readable and enjoyable way.
